Scuba Training

Scuba Training

Human beings have walked the surface of the earth for thousands of years.  We seek adventure to add fulfillment to our lives and connect with nature.  Almost every moment of our lives is spent on land, but our Earth’s surface is 70% water.  Are you satisfied with only 30% of what your world has to offer?  Do you need a way to escape the busy every day world?  Come with us and we’ll show you how to swim among the world’s most beautiful creatures. We’ll show you where you can find peace and serenity to recharge your soul.  See how Scuba diving can change your life.   Explore Your World!

Scuba Oasis will teach you how to explore parts of the world most people will never experience.  Our courses were created by Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the largest and most recognized scuba training agency in the world.  PADI courses have been developed over the past 50 years to provide students a fun and safe way to enjoy scuba diving.  Your courses will be conducted by one of our PADI Professionals who has been certified by PADI to teach the course to ensure you learn.

We have courses designed to fit your needs whether you are new to scuba or you are an experienced diver wanting to start a career in recreational scuba diving.  Each course has specific objectives designed to teach you how to be a better diver so you can safely experience the underwater world.  Most courses include training in a controlled environment such as a swimming pool to learn and master new skills, then demonstrating those skills in an Open Water environment such as a local lake, river, or ocean.

Our pool training sessions are conducted in Uvalde, Texas; however, arrangements can be made for training to be conducted at a suitable location closer to your group for your convenience.  Our Open Water training sites include Lake Amistad, Ft. Clark Springs, Nueces River, Frio River, Medina Lake, Canyon Lake, Lake Travis, and Balmorhea, but may include other similar locations.  The selection of the training site is determined by several factors including the sites ability to meet training objectives and the locations convenience for you.
